Week 3 produced three meaningful role changes: and moved toward feature-back usage, while and surrendered much of last week's momentum. The box scores matter — but snap share, rush share, target share, and scoring-position work tell you which roles are sticky.

1. Jeremiyah Love's Takeover Arrived

Role Jump

After averaging ~43% of snaps behind through two games, Love jumped to a 64% snap share, 78% rush share, and a meaningful route involvement (five targets on 22 routes / ~41% route rate). He handled 21 attempts for 90 yards, caught all five targets for 19 yards and a score — despite apparently not being fully recovered from his high-ankle sprain.

Allgeier retained two-minute work and three of Arizona's five snaps inside the five — the last pieces of a true monopoly. Love's 21.9 fantasy points are secondary to the 78% rushing share. The breakout happened before his explosiveness fully returned.

Signal · Strong role advancement

Raise Love into the high-end dynasty RB2 range, with RB1 upside. Don't project a complete monopoly until he takes more goal-line and two-minute work. Allgeier slides from standalone committee back toward premium-handcuff status.

2. Cam Skattebo Regained the Role That Creates Ceilings

was a healthy scratch, allowing Skattebo to play 77% of the snaps, run a route on ~65% of dropbacks, and handle 20 carries plus four targets (18.2% target share). He also received New York's only carry inside the five. His 13.0 PPR undersold an 81 Utilization Score and a three-down menu.

Signal · Strong (if Singletary stays out)

This directly reverses the preseason concern that Skattebo would lose passing downs. Raise him into the dynasty RB2 tier — an inefficient 3.0 YPC (60 yards on 20 carries) matters less than retaining rushing, receiving, and scoring-position work. is presently the preferred contingency stash, but not a meaningful standalone threat.

Newsletter hook: the quietest Week 3 breakout scored only 13 points.
