Week 1 Rookie Leaders
Antonio Williams and Caleb Douglas were the strongest performers among 2026 WR Class. Lets look at each rookies week one production, fantasy output, and usage.

Caleb Douglas’ NFL debut was the one Miami had been waiting on. The Dolphins hadn’t spent a pick this high on a wide receiver since Jaylen Waddle, and after a strong camp and preseason, Sunday against the Raiders was the first real look under OC Bobby Slowik and quarterback Malik Willis.
Douglas delivered. He looked like Miami’s WR1 from the jump — five catches, 94 yards, and almost 20 yards per reception — while Bell and Coleman rotated behind him. The chemistry with Willis showed up on scramble throws and intermediate breaks; on a drive just before halftime he stacked chunk gains that set up a makeable field goal. Without him, Miami’s offense would have been even quieter.
One number puts the debut in historical company: 94 receiving yards is the most by a Dolphins rookie in a first career game, and the biggest Week 1 yardage line from any rookie WR since Puka Nacua’s 119. Douglas was the first of three Miami wideouts drafted in 2026 — Chris Bell (third round) added a 25-yard grab, and Kevin Coleman (fifth round) finished with two targets and no catches.
