2027 QB Class — Early Preview
Why the 2027 quarterback group could reshape Superflex rookie drafts for years to come.

In Dynasty it is all about staying ahead of the competition. We must align our roster strategy to strong classes, target elite talent, and identify the can't miss prospects who are typically in the Elite+ tier.
The 2027 class is extremely different compared to the 2026 class. It is historic based on the predictive data. It is always important to keep our eyes on where the puck is going, and not get overly focused outside of the top-four elite prospects from 2026 (Love, Tate, Tyson, Lemon). The real wave of talent is coming right behind it.
The 2027 QB class mirrors the special 2024 class that produced Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels, and Bo Nix. We have been in something of a quarterback drought in Superflex formats — the 2025 class was headlined by Cam Ward, and 2026 by Fernando Mendoza, but neither carries the same depth. That is what makes 2027 so important. It has the potential to reset the quarterback pipeline and deliver a wave of high-end dynasty assets at the most valuable position in the format.

Elite traits and talent that translate to fantasy scoring
Elite+ Tier
Manning sits at the top of the early board because the complete package is already visible: arm talent, mobility, and high-end playmaking ability. His elite dual-threat profile adds an important fantasy layer — 400 rushing yards and 10 rushing TDs this past season alongside 3,163 passing yards, 27 TDs, and only 7 interceptions on 61% completion. He is in the archetype of a Drake Maye from a fantasy point of view, and many of us saw how Maye catapulted teams to dynasty championships. Manning has a legitimate trajectory as a dynasty top-5 QB.
Sayin is arguably the most polished passer in the class. His elite accuracy his redshirt freshman season was the third best in college football history — completing 77.0% of his passes, narrowly behind the record Bo Nix set in 2023. Overall he threw for 3,600 yards, 32 TDs and 8 interceptions in 2025. Due to limited rushing upside (-44 yards on 42 rushes), his ceiling projects as a top-10 dynasty QB rather than top-5.
